The KTU iSTEAM Centre for Teacher Education delivers teacher education programmes, professional development courses and carries out educational project activities. The centre focuses on strengthening the competencies of future and practising teachers, sharing innovative teaching practices and improving the quality of education.
If you wish to gain a teaching qualification and prepare for a career in education, KTU offers a range of study options tailored to your educational background and professional goals. During your studies, you will develop knowledge of pedagogy, educational psychology and subject-specific teaching methods, alongside the practical skills needed by today’s teachers.
Minor studies in Pedagogy are designed for students who wish to develop teaching competencies and prepare for a teaching career alongside their main bachelor’s degree programme. These studies combine knowledge from the chosen field of study with pedagogy, educational psychology, teaching methods and teaching practice.
The iSTEAM Centre for Teacher Education supports the professional development of teachers and other education professionals by offering professional development programmes for teachers across a range of subjects and for education leaders.
