The laboratory conducts interdisciplinary research in educational science, educational neuroscience and public health to understand the relationships between learning, cognition and well-being in contemporary educational environments. It investigates cognitive processes, learning experiences and their expression in narrative data using qualitative and mixed-methods research.
Its main focus is inclusive digital education and the application of artificial intelligence in learning. Research examines how technological solutions can support personalised learning, greater inclusion, improved learning outcomes and more accessible education for diverse groups of learners.
The laboratory also explores the relationship between cognitive functions and health to develop research-based recommendations for educational practice that promote students’ and educators’ well-being, motivation and successful participation in education.
